The 469 CMY's third stateroom offers twin bunks in an "L" configuration. Though targeted at a small niche of boaters, for those looking for a three stateroom, two head configuration below 50 feet, the 469 is one of the only boats on the market that fit the bill.
To accommodate the third stateroom, the starboard seating in the salon becomes a chaise lounge seat. The television is still highly viewable from this seat and the boat maintains Meridian's signature opposed seating layout for natural conversation. The two seat spaces given up in the salon are more than made up for in the enormous weather protected seating on the bridge, thanks to the addition of a hardtop.
The addition of a full hardtop to the aft deck cover makes for a seamless enclosed area between the aft deck and the bridge.
There are clear sight lines from the captain back to guests seated or standing on the aft deck. This arrangement unifies the large aft deck and bridge areas.
The hardtop also allows for lighting for the full bridge, additional speakers and ridgid polycarbonate front enclosures for improved visibility. The polycarbonate pieces are mounted on tracks, allowing them to be moved quickly to the side for ventilation.
